PRIMARY PURPOSE: Performs all accounting and reporting responsibilities associated with the Company's global Information Technology (IT) expenses. Completes IT-related entries including prepaids and accruals. Monitors and maintains compliance of Company's policies, procedures and internal controls.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists management in the research of global IT expense related requests / questions from investors and executive management.
  • Ensures IT-related balance sheet and income statement accounts are stated accurately, reconciled timely and stated in accordance with GAAP.
  • Monitors global IT expense accounts, researches and works closely with IT staff to ensure correct coding and to make IT expense related accruals.
  • Develops, maintains & processes IT budget variance reporting as required by management.
  • Maintains compliance with Company policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • Prepares and reconciles IT Prepaid balance sheet account and calculates amortization in accordance with GAAP.
  • Analyzes and maintains IT expense accounts.
  • Communicates issues and other applicable information to management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing:
BS/BA degree or equivalent with major in accounting required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
Experience:
Five (5) to eight (8) years accounting analysis experience required.
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, regulations and practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
